Central Valley Training Center is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to work at our Rapid Program!

We are seeking a reliable candidate who is a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who thrives independently in a project-based environment. Ideal candidate acts as CVTC’s liaison with medical doctors, care providers, and pharmacies.
The first program is our Behavior Management Day Program where our Instructors provide training and support to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and partake in many community outings. You will have the opportunity to help these individuals meet their potential and the goals they have set for themselves.
The second program is our Employment Training Program. This is a new pilot program for our company, and you have the chance to be a part of it! This program’s sole focus is to train the participants we work with in areas of employment. Modules will be set up in the facility and the participants will work to complete them; when finished, they will earn a certificate that they can take out into the community to secure a paying job!

- Enter participants data in paper and or computer record keeping oxygen.
- Educate the participants and staff on medical related items
- Keep health records updated.
- Assist with adequate participant care and supervision
- Maintain and audit digital and paper participants files
- Periodically observe classroom activities for alignment and quality and consistency
What we are looking for:
Current and Valid license as Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Familiar with Regional Center Services and Title 17
Familiar with health issues and developmental disabilities
Ability to write Care Plans and update them as needed, but at least annually
Ability to train staff on Care Plans
Ability to advise on Medication administration and associated issues
- Minimum of high school diploma/GED/transcripts showing a graduations date (in addition to LVN license)
- Driving your own vehicle is required (We reimburse mileage at 58.5 cents per mile!)
- Valid CA Driver’s License
- Current Auto Insurance
- Current DMV Printout (driver history report)

***All candidates will also be required to complete a fingerprint and DOJ background check as well as a pre-employment physical which includes passing aTB test and drug screen.
Position: Full Time (37.5 hours/week)
Pay Range: $25.00/hr
