About Benjamin
Ben Walters began with CVTC in January of 2020 as an Instructor in Modesto. He later became a Job Coach before transferring to the Merced site. There, he advanced into leadership roles, becoming Lead Instructor in May 2023 and Interim Program Manager in October 2023. By January of 2024 Ben had attained two associate degrees in psychology and sociology, as well as his bachelor's in psychology from CSU Stanislaus.
In Merced, he helped develop and shape the Customized Employment program and in February of 2024, he was promoted to permanent Program Manager, overseeing behavioral management. In September 2025, Ben returned to Modesto South donning the role of Director.
Above all, Ben is passionate about person-centered practices, driving culture change, and equipping teams with the tools and support needed to create meaningful opportunities.
Outside of his work, Ben is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and their pets. He also enjoys simple pleasures like reading, podcasts, and watching TV.
