Winter Craft Idea

Pinecone Snowy Owls
This adorable winter craft uses natural materials and is easy to make with just a few steps.
MATERIALS:
- Pinecones (clean and dry)
- Cotton balls or white craft fluff
- Googly eyes
- Felt (white, yellow, or orange)
- Glue (hot glue works best, but school glue can work too)
- Scissors
Steps:
- Add the Fluff: Gently pull apart cotton balls or use craft fluff, then tuck and glue it into the crevices of the pinecone to mimic soft feathers. Cover as much or as little as you like.
- Attach the Eyes: Glue two googly eyes onto the top of the pinecone to create the owl's face.
- Create a Beak: Cut a small triangle from yellow or orange felt and glue it just below the eyes as the beak.
- Add Wings (Optional): Cut small wing shapes from felt and glue them to the sides of the pinecone for extra detail.
- Display: Let it dry and display your snowy owl on a table, mantel, or as part of a centerpiece.
These snowy owls are quick, fun, and bring a cozy, woodland charm to your winter decorations!
