As we move through another remarkable year of service, I want to take a moment to reflect on the powerful mission that unites us: supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to lead meaningful, self- directed lives. This work is not simply a profession—it’s a calling rooted in dignity, inclusion, and the unwavering be- lief in every person’s potential.

Across our organization, I continue to witness the extraordinary commitment of our staff, families, advocates, and community partners. Whether it's helping someone secure employment for the first time, supporting independent living goals, or simply being a reliable and trusted presence in someone’s life, your efforts are creating real and last- ing change.

In a field that is constantly evolving, we remain committed to leading with innovation and heart. We're investing in technology that enhances communication and care, advancing person-centered practices, and strengthening our training programs to ensure every team member has the tools they need to succeed. Most importantly, we're listen- ing—listening to the voices of the people we support, their families, and the frontline staff who know this work best.

We also know that our advocacy doesn’t stop at the individual level. Together, we must continue to raise our collec- tive voice for policy changes, funding improvements, and greater public awareness. Every individual deserves not just access—but opportunity. Not just care—but community. And not just support—but true self-determination.
