Spring Blossoms and Garden Magic at CVTC
“Spring flowers are Mother Nature’s way of showing us love and beauty.”
— Lisa Miramontes (Stockton West)
Throughout her time with CVTC, Lisa M. has revitalized our garden, transforming it into a vibrant space that provides vocational training opportunities and serves as an excellent outlet for our participants' self-expression and enjoyment.
Pictured is Erica V. with Instructor Nancy G. Despite being nonverbal, Erica's smile while tending to the garden communicates her enjoyment and engagement in this therapeutic activity.
As the seasons change, our participants have the opportunity to embrace their roles as gardeners by planting colorful flowers and vegetables, enabling them to express their feelings and emotions through their interactions with plants.
Our participants also dive into their artistic sides, crafting delightful garden gems—like that fabulous bird bath over to the left!
Andrew kicks off his mornings like a botanical superhero, showering his beloved flowers with all the love and water they can handle! It’s like a magic potion that sets him up for a day filled with sunshine and smiles.
